Tour Description

IMPORTANT: All our tours are adapted to the times you need, for example if your cruise arrives at 9am (local time) and you have selected another time (e.g. 7am), we will contact you to coordinate. Duration: 4.5 hrs Includes: Transportation of Tour of the Island. Description: During the Island tour you will learn History and Culture of Roatán as we drive through different neighborhoods and communities of the Island. We start by driving to Punta Gorda on the East Side of Roatan, here you will be able to see the Garifona Village and even get a chance to buy some local food there. Take some awesome pictures of the views right from the side of the street. Then we will stop by Oakridge where you will be able to take a boat ride through the tunnels of the Mangroves where the pirates once smuggled goods from the Spanish. Next we will start to dive towards the west side of the island again and along the way you can stop at the souvenir shops for pictures and some shopping. In Coxen Hole we will go to a famous spot known as the viewpoint. Here you can take a Birdseye view picture of Roatan. Next, we will take a short drive to West End and visit the Roatan Chocolate factory, here you will be able to try 15 different flavors of homemade chocolate for free. This is a great spot for lunch as well, so at your choice we can take you to any local spot in west end so you can buy lunch and enjoy the ocean breeze as you eat. After this we will head over to West Bay Hill and stop by the Lighthouse to get an awesome view of the entire Island and take some pictures. Right across the street from the lighthouse is the Roatan Rum Factory that you can also visit to have some free samples. (if you want to add any activity all you have to do is tell your guide) Once you are ready, we will start heading back to the Port. On our way back we will stop at the giant Roatan sign for a picture.
